Katie is an associate attorney practicing in DeWitt’s Minneapolis office where she is a member of the Litigation Practice Group. Her practice area is general civil litigation including business, labor and employment, and family law matters. Her experience in various areas of legal practice has allowed her to gain understanding of the various aspects of legal representation and helps her serve her clients in a more effective manner.
Originally from Des Moines, Iowa, Katie moved to Minneapolis to attend law school at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. Prior to joining DeWitt, Katie worked as a law clerk with the firm, where she built the skills necessary to become a successful associate attorney. Throughout law school, Katie held several leadership roles including Director of Moot Court and Secretary of the Public Service Board. Her work experience throughout law school included a judicial clerkship in Hennepin County and an in-house legal internship with a top Minnesota Corporation.
