Joia is an associate attorney in DeWitt’s Business and Real Estate practice groups. As such, Joia’s legal practice predominantly involves providing aid and assistance to both individuals and businesses as they attempt to navigate the legal hurdles that often face clients in these areas of the law. She has experience helping and advising clients on an array of legal matters including real estate purchases, entity formation, and reviewing, as well as drafting, contracts that are necessary to meet the needs of her clients.
In practicing the law and interacting with her clients, Joia values communicating with her clients and learning about her client’s legal objectives above all else. She believes that strong lines of communication between herself and her clients are the foundation by which she can most effectively assist her clients in obtaining their legal goals. Ultimately, Joia is committed to crafting innovative and resourceful solutions and strategies that will meet each of her clients’ unique needs.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate attorney, Joia worked as a law clerk at DeWitt. During law school, Joia was a Managing Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review and she also competed for both the Wisconsin Law School’s Moot Court Board and the Wisconsin Law School’s Mock Trial team.
