Chase is an associate in the firm’s litigation and environmental law practice groups. In that role, Chase works routinely with construction, environmental, and commercial clients to protect their business interests when the need for litigation arises. Chase also counsels clients regarding state and federal air, water, waste, and other regulatory issues, and he has experience navigating the permitting process for large, livestock facilities.

Chase also represents management interests in labor and employment law. In this role, Chase has counseled clients on the complex matters that arise in acquisitions and sales of businesses. He also provides clients with an organized workforce support on issues ranging from the negotiation of collective bargaining agreements to grievance defense.

Prior to joining DeWitt, Chase spent two years at a Chicago consulting firm where he worked with the research and development arm of the bio-pharmaceutical industry. As an analyst, he developed an efficiency metric for cross-company benchmarking that evaluated the success of a clinical study based on the geographical location, the targeted therapy area, and the initial capital investment.

While in law school, Chase worked for the Wisconsin Innocence Project, a program in which student attorneys investigate, litigate and remedy potential wrongful convictions. He also served as Note & Comment Editor of the Wisconsin Law Review, and he competed and coached for the school's Moot Court Board.
