Chuck obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and practiced in the engineering profession for six years. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Toledo. Shortly after graduation he was employed by Honeywell Inc. where, during a nineteen-year tenure, he handled not only matters related to chemical patent practice, but also those involving a wide range of other technologies arising out of the company’s research, development and manufacturing activities, with some emphasis in the medical device area. He is admitted to the Bar in the State of Ohio, the State of Minnesota and the Federal Bar. He has also been registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is a member of the Hennepin County and Minnesota State Bar Associations, the American Bar Association, the Minnesota Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Intellectual Property Law Association.
